Steam Autumn Sale 2026 Is Live: Far Cry 6 for $6, Watch Dogs 2 for $2.49 and More

The third big Steam sale of the year is here. The Steam Autumn Sale runs from October 1 to 7, bringing the usual wave of game discounts, bundles and cheap DLC, along with a few hidden gems worth adding to the backlog.

The deepest cuts are on older big-budget games. Far Cry 6 drops to $6 from $60, a 90 percent discount for open-world shooting with Giancarlo Esposito as the dictator. Watch Dogs 2 is down to $2.49 from $50, and GameSpot's reviewers call it a fix for nearly everything that held the first game back. Solasta: Crown of the Magister falls to $3 from $30, pitched as a faithful Dungeons & Dragons 5E adaptation and a good follow-up for anyone who has sunk hundreds of hours into Baldur's Gate 3. Mad Max is $3 ($2.39 as a Steam key at Fanatical).

Newer and bigger releases are also marked down. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is $56 on Steam, or $51 on Fanatical, against a $70 list price. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is $49 ($43.39 at Fanatical), and it is called the best Batman game in over a decade. Street Fighter 6 is $16 from $40, with a feature-film adaptation arriving next month. The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, a visual novel and tactics hybrid, is $49 from $70. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is $30 from $50.

If you want something cheaper, there are plenty of picks. Rez Infinite is $7.49, Tactical Breach Wizards is $11, and Gunpoint is $2.49. Blue Prince is $18 ($15.29 at Fanatical). Costume Quest, a good fit for the season, is $2. Meccha Chameleon, a multiplayer hide-and-seek game, costs $4.19. Other discounts include Tempest Rising at $20, Iron Nest: Heavy Turret Simulator at $15, Absolum at $19, Big Hops at $13, Blade Chimera at $12, Level Devil at $5 and Observation at $6.

Retro Rewind, a 1990s video rental store sim, is $14. Its developers plan to add game rentals to it this fall.

Steam has more events lined up. Cooking Fest runs October 12-19, Next Fest October 19-26, and Steam Scream V Fest from October 26 to November 2. November brings the Auto-Battler RPG Fest, and the Steam Winter Sale arrives in December. After that, the Steam Spring Sale returns in March 2027.

Note that Fanatical and GameSpot are both owned by Fandom. Prices can change, so check the store page before you buy.
