Forza Horizon 6 Heads to PS5 in January With Its First Expansion

Forza Horizon 6 is finally coming to PlayStation 5 in January. Until now, the open-world racing series has been tied to Xbox and PC, so the announcement opens the game up to a large group of players who have been waiting for a way in.

The PS5 release will not arrive on its own. It is set to launch alongside the game's first major expansion, which gives the console debut a reason to stand apart from a simple port. The announcement summary did not say what the expansion contains, so fans should hold off on judging its scope until more details are published.

For PlayStation owners, January gives them a clear date to plan around. Pairing the console launch with new content also signals that the publisher wants the PS5 version to feel like a full part of the game's rollout rather than a late addition.
