Witcher 3 Songs of the Past EP Gives Early Listen to New Expansion Music

Fans of Geralt's world can now hear the first music from the next chapter of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Milan Records has put out a short EP tied to the upcoming Songs of the Past expansion, giving listeners an early look at how the new content will sound.

The release is titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past (Original Soundtrack Gamescom 2026 EP). As the name suggests, it arrives around this year's Gamescom showing. It contains five tracks of new, original material rather than reworked pieces from the base game or earlier DLC.

Three composers are credited on the collection: Magda Urbanska, Marcin Pryzbylowicz and Daniel Elms. Music has long been one of the defining parts of the Witcher series. The folk-inspired sound of the original game left a lasting mark on the franchise, so any new score for the 2015 hit will be closely watched by longtime players.

An EP is a small sample, and it is not the full soundtrack. The five tracks offer a taste of the expansion's musical direction, and the wider score is expected to arrive with the DLC itself. For now, the release works as a teaser for players who want a reason to return to the Continent.
