Liberty City has long been a fan wish for GTA 5, especially after the return to the setting was hinted at over the years. According to the leaked material, work on the project went far enough to leave a substantial footprint in the files, though nothing has been confirmed by Rockstar and the exact scope of the cancelled expansion remains unclear.

The more eyebrow-raising claim is that the archive reportedly also includes very early work connected to GTA 6. Details on what those files contain have not been verified, and it is not clear how much of it would resemble the game Rockstar is building today.
